TrueDepth API and Face Tracking

NodBlocks utilizes Apple’s ARKit and the TrueDepth API to provide a hands-free, augmented reality gaming experience. Because this technology relies on tracking your facial expressions and head movements, we want to be completely transparent about how this data is handled:

• What data is collected: The app tracks the position, orientation, and topology of your face (such as raising eyebrows or opening your mouth) in real-time to trigger in-game actions (e.g., moving, rotating, or dropping blocks).
• How the data is used: This facial tracking data is used exclusively for gameplay mechanics while the app is actively running.
• Data Storage and Sharing: The face tracking data is processed entirely locally on your device. We do not record, store, or retain any facial data, video, or images. The data exists only in the device's volatile memory for the fraction of a second needed to calculate the game move, and is then immediately discarded.
• Third Parties: Face data is never transmitted to our servers, nor is it shared with any third parties, analytics providers, or advertising networks.
